He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gill and Eva Gill; his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Alois, Hilly, Alphonse, Norbert, Beatrice, Cecilia and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his sister Rose Mary; and his children, Peggy Mollison (Doug), Julie Kerns (Rick), Joseph Gill (Jacklyn), David Gill, Ann Gill and Michael Gill. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
