He was predeceased by: his father Bill Hoffmann; his siblings, Robin Hoffmann and Scott Hoffmann of Peoria, Illinois; and his parents-in-law, Alvin and Hazel Thorn of Oakdale, Minnesota..
He is survived by: his wife Heidi; his mother Cheris Hoffmann; his siblings, Allison Hanson (Michael), Bill of Illinois and Phil Hoffmann of Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Hellen Thorn and Darrell Thorn of Oakdale, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
