He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bennett Garner and Edith Garner (Ellingsen); his wife Catherine Garner (Kay); his stepsons, Gordy Aune Jr. (Marie), Michael Aune (Cindy), Jeffrey Aune (Char) and Bryan Aune (Lisa); his sister Marge Menge; his niece Carrie Rudeen; and his nephews, Craig Vincent (Sally) and Derek Vincent. He was also cherished by grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
