He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wagenknecht and Augusta Wagenknecht; and his siblings, Elmer, Herbert, Willard, Calvin, Mabel, Violet Wagenknecht and Gladys Daggett.

He is survived by: his wife Lenore; and his children, Joanne Zehnder (Bart), Barbara Kallin (Terry), Ronald Wagenknecht and Diane Wagenknecht. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.; Also many nieces and nephews.
