It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice E. Mullen of West Saint Paul, Minnesota, born in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tony Chmielewski and Tillie Chmielewski; her daughter Geralyn; her husband Harold (Harry); her children, Kathleen (Doris Beresford), Mary Braun (Roger), Michael (Sheila), Susan Boudreau (Paul), Pat Schemmel (Jay) and Tom (Donna Ostby); and her brother Florian Chmielewski. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, offerings for Masses are preferred, or memorials to St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD.
