It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katie Ness of West Concord, Minnesota, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandmother Sally Dressel. She is survived by: her parents, George Gillen and Deborah Gillen (Dressel); her husband Greg Ness; her stepchildren, Trevor Ness (Serena) and Kyra Possehl (Zach); her grandchildren, Liam, Luca Possehl, Hazel, Conrad and Croix Ness; her sisters, Betsy Doolittle (David), Andrea Finnigsmier (Robb) and Laurie Kirschling (Adam); her nieces and nephews, Sawyer, Grace Doolittle, Bea, Hugo and Ada Finnigsmier; her grandfather Mark H. Dressel; and her parents-in-law, Sharon and Lar Ness. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moland Lutheran Church (7618 NE 84th Ave, Kenyon, MN 55985).
