Sylvester Goerdt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester Goerdt (Wendell, Minnesota), who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, August Goerdt and Emma Goerdt (Walz); his wife Joyce; his son Frank Horn; and his siblings, Gladys Olson and Harold Goerdt.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Goerdt of Moorhead, Carol Goerdt of Fargo, Kim Cordahl (Pam) of Fergus Falls, Maurita Thompson of Brooklyn Park and Lonnie Horn of Fergus Falls; and his sisters, Harriet Marquardt of Minneapolis and Violet McFadden of Minneapolis.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers charitable donations to the donor's choice.
