She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Kube and Ella Kube (Rossow); her son Larry Kruize (Karla); her son-in-law Mike Zender; her brothers, Merlin Kube (Neoma) and Roger Kube; her grandson Tyler Kruize; her nephew Pat Kube; her niece Denise Johnson; and also, Emily Johnson and Carter Retzlaff.
She is survived by: her former husband George Kruize; her daughters, Sherrie Shelby (Jim) of San Diego, CA and Lorrie Zender of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Staci Nielsen (Joel), Arielle Trinh (Thien-Quang), Janelle Shelby, Derek Zender (Carly) and Dylan Zender (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Abbi Kruize, Elijah, Brianna, Isabelle, Grace Nielsen, Leighton, Elliott and Quinn Zender; and her nieces, Dianne Herman and Debbie Retzlaff. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
