He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Fritz" Weigand and Helen Weigand (Thompson); his brother Robert (Leone Weigand); and his grandson Kyle Ross Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Weigand; his daughter Angi Jensen (Daryl); his brother Don Weigand (Gloria) of Wendell; his grandchildren, Tyler Jensen (Jenni) and Kelcy Jensen; and his great grandchildren, Lili, Logan and Liam.
