With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sidney Johnson of Wells, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Gladys Johnson (Martin); his parents-in-law, Henry Edwin, Casimir and Emma Schultz; his daughter Michelle Meyer; his grandson Ben Steckelberg; his siblings, Keith Johnson, Steve Johnson and Sue Barbknecht (Les); his godson Troy Johnson; and his sister-in-law Sharon Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Marlyss Edwin; his sons, Ronald Johnson and Mitchell Johnson; his grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Aubrey Steckelberg, Megan Matson (Arik), Macey Johnson and Matthew Johnson; his great grandchildren, Tyler Klose, Tashina Barta, Noalin Nordaas, Audrina and Maklynn Matson; his great great grandchild Thorsten Klose; his son-in-law Mark Meyer; his brothers, Neil Johnson and Terry Johnson; his godchildren, Molly Iverson, Rhonda Krueger, Jayda Oakland and Charity Possin; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Johnson and Jane Edwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (255 2nd Ave SW, Wells, MN 56097). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
