He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Groskreutz and Martha Groskreutz (Brix); his stepfather Bill Kendrick; his wife Arlene Young; and his siblings-in-law, Curtis Pritchard, Martha Ignaszewski (Philip), Melvin Young (Ruby), Elmer Young (Elvira), Kathy Kendrick and Florence Johansson (Herman).
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Dostal (Larry) of Owatonna, MN; his grandchildren, Micheal Dostal of Minnetonka, MN and Michelle Sunde (Ben) of Blooming Prairie, MN; his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Anika Sunde; and his siblings, Arlean Pritchard of Owatonna, MN, Larry Kendrick of Winona, MN and Fritz Kendrick of Richfield, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
