He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gerber and Elizabeth Gerber (Huper); his stepmother Erma Gerber; his sisters, Ardis and Ethel Korn (LuVerne); and his siblings-in-law, Philip Wegner, Wallace Havermeier and Geraldine Klingbeil.
He is survived by: his wife Jaunice; his children, Robert Gerber (Carol) of Glenrock, WY, Linda Staloch (Jack) of Mound, MN, Jeanne Meyer (Gerri) of Albert Lea, MN and Betty Lemme (Steve) of Henderson, NV; his grandchildren, Aaron Gerber (Tonya) of Thompson, IA, Jessica Gerber of Denver, CO, Tess Gerber (Michael Ward) of Denver, CO, Cathy Hass (Matt) of St. Louis, Elizabeth Reid (Kris) of Roseville, MN, Melissa Altenbach (Mark) of Mpls, MN, Laura Arnfelt (Blake) of Lakeville, MN and Rachel Schlaak (Gaven) of New Richland, MN; and his great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Addison.
