With solemn reverence, we commemorate Darlene M. Bias of Wells, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on January 19, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John DePoppe and Martha DePoppe; her husbands, Carl Schmidt and Clement Bias; her daughters, Paulette Oothoudt and Faith Soost; her foster daughter Paulette Walker; her stepson Tony Bias; her son-in-law Tom Schlosser; her grandsons, Mark Schlosser and Brian Schlosser; her grandson-in-law Randy Gill; her siblings, Raymond DePoppe (Anna), Merle DePoppe (Betty), Donald DePoppe (Marianne), Harold DePoppe (Rosella), Lorena Klompenhower (Leonard) and Wendel DePoppe (Jane); and her stepgrandson Elias Otdoerfser.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Schlosser and Lori Creamer (Stan); her son-in-law Larry Soost; her foster daughters, Muriel, Linda and Deb; her stepchildren, Virginia Rudebusch (Gene), Teresa Jarvis (Bud), Patricia Otdoerfer (Floyd), Al Bias, John Bias and Bernard Bias (Becky); her stepdaughter-in-law Pat Bias; her grandchildren, Rhonda Gill, Gail Scholesser, Terri Hultin (Aaron), Gary Oothoudt (Lynn), Shane Cole (Ashley), Meriah Cole, Kyle Jensen (Lorayne) and Blair Meland (Tony); her stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Ruth, Laura, Richard, Sara, Amy, Marcelline, Blaine, Brice and Ben; and her brother Wayne DePoppe (Diane). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; many step-great grandchildren; many great-great- grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Casimir Catholic Church (330 2nd Ave SW, Wells, MN 56097). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
