He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Pearson and Mabel Pearson (Gesche); his wife Ruby Schulz; his son Kurt; his great grandchild Max Van Sickle; and his siblings, Irene McQuarie (Bob), Reed, Leland, Myron, Vernel, Larry, Mark and Merle.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Joline Pearson (Mike Sandt) of Wells, MN.; his grandson Travis Pearson (Ellen); his great grandchildren, Christine and Claire of Dodge Center, MN.; his granddaughter Sally Strom (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Ashley Pearson (Jared Bingham) and Logan Strom of Bricelyn, MN.; his daughter Kelly Sonnek (John "Pete") of Wells, MN.; his granddaughter Nicole Van Sickle (Jesse); his sisters-in-law, Marion Pearson, Glennis Pearson, Vivian Pearson, Roselyn Pearson, Shirley Pearson, Barb Pearson, Diane Pearson and Lu Etta Hardy (Jimmy); his pet Patty; and his fathers-in-law, Henry Lutteke (Marion), Melvin Schirmer (Jeanette) and Marvin Hardy.
In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Paul's UCC Cemetery Association for continued upkeep.
