He is survived by: his wife Jean Matz; his children, Dale (LeAnn) of Park Rapids, MN, Mona Salazar (Adam), Tom (Julie) of Peoria, AZ and Steve (Maureen) of St. Peter, MN; his grandchildren, Breanna Larson (Andy), Danielle Weber (Steve), Mackenzie Thorstenson (Kip), Joe Carlson (Jayme), Sam Carlson, Jay Carlson (Ashley), Megan Muhich (Josh), Matthew Carlson (Catherine) and Amelia Carlson; his great grandchildren, Alaina, Adelynn, John Larson, Leo, Shea Thorstenson, Logan, Levi Carlson, Blake Weber, Elizabeth and Lucas Muhich; his brothers, Herald and Lester; and his sister-in-law Irene Matz.
