She was predeceased by: her husbands, Herbert Meyer and Jim Sorom; her siblings, Jane Dawson, Gladean Groskreutz, Lois Groskreutz (William), Dale Giese and Elwood Giese; and her brothers-in-law, Laverne Stern, Clair Friday and Robert Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, James Meyer (Colleen) of Minneapolis, MN and Barbara Jean Kjos (Carl) of Willmar, MN; her grandchildren, Kimberly Bland (Michael) of Eden Prairie, MN, Mollie Meyer of Los Angeles, CA and Andy Meyer of Minneapolis, MN; her great grandchildren, Addison and Nikko Phillips; and her siblings, RuthAnn Friday of Marshalltown, IA, David Giese (Geraldine) and Paul Howard Giese (Shizuko). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
