She was predeceased by: her parents, George Saunders and Florence Saunders (Jellison); her husband Bud; her daughter Tracy Lee (Ekstrand); her siblings, Gertrude Saunders and George Saunders; her siblings-in-law, Doris Saunders and Richard "Dick" Ziemer; her nephew Gary Saunders; and her niece Diane Ziemer.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Boettcher (Dennis) of Blue Earth, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher of Mankato, MN, Todd of Elmore, MN, Chad (Carrie) of Mankato, MN, Travis Boettcher of Moose Lake, MN and Maggie Sanders of Fairmont, MN; her son-in-law Richard Lee of North Potomac, MD; and her sister Carolyn "Kelly" Ziemer of Elk River, MN. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Lakeview MHCC, Trinity Lutheran Church (Blue Earth), and/or the Welcome Historical Society/Museum.
