He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Carlson and Ida J. Carlson (Green). He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Nicole Walker, Michael Brandon Carlson, Victoria Ashley Carlson, Joshua Caleb Carlson and Holly Carlson; and his brothers, Dale Carlson, Dean Carlson and Mark Carlson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
