It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene M. Carpenter of Welch, Minnesota, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gruber and Pearl Gruber (Van Guilder); and her sons, Allen David and Jacob Lee. She is survived by: her husband David A. Carpenter; her children, Darrel Jo Carpenter, Darla Jean Carpenter (Kory Mueske), Dustin James Carpenter and Diana Joy Bjurquist (Dan); her grandsons, Jacob, Landon, Jesse and Wyatt; and her siblings, Edward Gruber, Jim Gruber (Lora) and Audrey Rosener (Murlyn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
