With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Hedeen (Welch, Minnesota), born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Hedeen and Joyce Hedeen (Banitt); and his brothers, John, Thomas and David Hedeen.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley King; his children, Jenny Hedeen of Rosemount, Robert Hedeen (Ria) of Wanamingo and Erin Gravemann (Nick) of Goodhue; his grandchildren, Sarah Jo, Isaac, Eli, Kiley Hedeen, Haley, Maxwell and Zachary Gravemann; his brother James "Jim" Hedeen (Sue) of Vasa; and his sisters-in-law, Julie Hedeen of Vasa and Helen Hedeen of Vasa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Dan's name to the charity of your choice.
