He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto F. Schultz and Lydia A. Schultz (Haust); his in-laws, Emil and Flora Meinke; his brother Elroy Schultz; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Kendrick and Darwin Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Meinke of John's Lutheran Church; his children, LouAnn Wagner (Randy) of Webster, Ellen Schiell (Brad) of Welch, Diane Phelps (Ryan) of Webster, Steve Schultz (Michele) of Webster and Sandy Kroyer of Lonsdale; his grandchildren, Brian Wagner (Carly), Megan Pieper (Nick), Amanda Sticha (Travis), Christopher Schiell (Maddie), Sarah Schiell, Ashley Parson (Luke), Hunter (Peyton Schnichels), Natalie, Gavin, Darby Phelps, Alexandra Nelson (Donovan), Andrew Schultz, Clint Deubler (Hailee), Jacob, Kyle and Emma Kroyer; his sisters, Nordis Kendrick and Oda Schultz; and his siblings-in-law, BernaDean Schultz and Gary Meinke. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
