He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter Shamblin and Charlotte Douglass Shamblin. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Caroline Shamblin and Jon Michael Shamblin; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Hannah Marion and Michael Robert Palleja; and his cousin Susan Chase.
