She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Svela and Anna Svela; and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her husband Mark Falstad; her siblings, Kathleen Koehler (Chub), Barbara Grachek (Arthur) and John Svela (Diane); her siblings-in-law, Robert Falstad (Rita) and Jan Falstad; and her pet Liam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
