He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hasler Thatcher; his siblings, Annette Thatcher Jorgensen (Dave Jorgensen) and John Griffin Thatcher (Janet Thatcher); and his children, Laurel Thatcher McNeil (Jed Douglas McNeil), Blaine Gilbert Thatcher (Amy Holtom Thatcher), Sabina Thatcher (Karl Parens), Barbara Thatcher James (Scott Lemont James), Bradley Hasler Thatcher (Elizabeth Pearson Thatcher) and Stephen Hasler Thatcher (Charis Van). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
