She was predeceased by: her parents, Amil LaMere and Rose LaMere (Oeffling); her brothers, Albert and Lawrence; her husbands, Richard Nelson and Marvin Sodren; and her son Kenneth Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister Beatrice; and her children, Gary (Maria), Vicki Henning (Marlin), Bradley (Joanne), Lisa Zahn (Russ) and Todd (Mary). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; many step and step-step children.
Flo was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 9 years into their marriage.
