He was predeceased by: his wife Patti. He is survived by: his pet Bagley; his sister Sharon Burnham; his daughter Kate Cunningham; his son-in-law Patrick; his granddaughter Cielo; his son Brian Nash; and his grandsons, Logan and Fletcher.

He retired when the pandemic began.

Nash, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's more than a year ago, was part of a circle of friends in a Bible study group.
