He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ovie Bersie and Irene Bersie (Adickes); his brother Gordan Bersie; his wife Beverly Bersie (Tessmer); his children, Barbara (Ken Ashfeld), Bruce (Shelley Bersie), Susan (Brad Hewitt) and Brad (Marlugen Bersie); his grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer Bersie), Matthew (Melissa Hewitt), Rachel and Stephanie (Tia Bersie); his siblings, Betty Quast, Marilyn, Jim Lund and Bob Bersie; and his sister-in-law Jennalee Bersie. He was also cherished by many other friends and relatives.
