He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Mattson and Alice Mattson of Waverly; his son Todd; and his siblings, Clayton Mattson and Wanda Gilmer.
He is survived by: his wife Renee; his children, Scott Mattson, Jeff Mattson (Chris) and Lisa Mills (Don); his grandchildren, Ryan, Cole (Mark), Eric (Caitlin), Mitchell (Monica), Samantha (Jack), Brett, Nick (Maddie), Allie, Brianna and Janelle; his great grandchildren, Alex, Peyton, Miles, Riley, Teagan, Ivy, Quinn, William and Mills; and his brother David Mattson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
