He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron VanBenschoten and Doris VanBenschoten (Seymour); and his sister Joan. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ellefson of Howard Lake; his daughter Sara Selvidge (William); his grandchildren, Nora and Jasper of St. Michael; and his sisters, Beverly Wilson (David) of Richfield Springs and Betty Graham of Debary, Florida..

Following the service all are invited to a Covid safe box lunch at the residance.
