She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Wilcox and Ruth Wilcox (McLaughlin); and her brothers, James and Howard. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Tim Cox (Jo Ann Lawson), Jeanne Hoaglund, Mark Cox (Mary Bishop), Pam Conner (Keith), Beth Krause (Cliff), Lee Ann Cox and Sara Roseth (Doug); and her brother Duane Wilcox (Joan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
