She was predeceased by: her mother Jeannette VanWert; her stepfather David Nicholson; her brothers, Michael and Marty; and her grandmother Ethelbert "Tiggums" VanWert.
She is survived by: her father Kenneth Kiehl; her significant other Paul Gerving; her children, Steven Folstrom (Valerie) of Naytahwaush, MN, Kenneth Folstrom of Gackle, ND, Jacob Folstrom (Lailla), Richard Gerving (Brianna) and Monica Gerving; her brothers, Raymond VanWert and Gordon Kiehl (Wa-Bi); and her grandchildren, Ashton, Dariuess and Tristan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
