He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rector and Myrtle Rector (Gilge); his wife Mary Ellen (Gift); his brother-in-law Fletcher Gift; his brother Dwight; and his sister-in-law Simone Rector.
He is survived by: his sons, Ned and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Ned Rector (Shelley) of Reiles Acres, ND and Charles Rector (Mindi); his grandchildren, Amanda Remund (Matt), Tessa Slinden (Joel), Evan, Eden and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Addison, Kaden and Liam; his siblings, David Rector (Faye) of Pembina, ND and Sharon Skalsky (Mike) of Stockton, CA; and his sister-in-law Maxine Gift of Princeton, MN. He is also survived by two children and their spouses, five grandchildren.
Following all safety protocols due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
