He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rassel and Mary Rassel (Sullivan); his brother Bobby; his brother-in-law Dave Erickson; and his great-niece Cadence Ebner.
He is survived by: his uncle Tim Sullivan; and his siblings, Helen Erickson of Coon Rapids, MN, Dorothy Leff (Allan), Elaine Leslie (David), David Rassel, Rosemary Anderson (Bill), Betty Fabre (Mark) and Jane Bjerk (Mark).
