Emma Holzem Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Holzem (Waubun, Minnesota), who passed away on September 11, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Schwientek (Roger), Bonita Gallaus (Robert), Beverly Melancon (Randy), Ann Clark (Ron), Michael Holzem (Jane), Patrick Holzem (Debbie) and Susan Moe (Paul); her sisters, Maryann Barsody, Virginia Stolte, Irene Davis and Roseanne DeBoer; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Barsody and Geri Barsody; her husband Charles; her parents, Steve Barsody and Katherine Barsody; her granddaughter Dawn; and her siblings, Barbara Roman, Katherine Donten, Arnold Barsody, Steve Barsody and Joe Barsody. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to; The Church of St. Andrew in Elk River, St. Frances Cabrini in Big Elbow Lake, or Ecumen—Memory Care Unit, Detroit Lakes.
