He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Meierhofer and Caroline Meierhofer (Yanish); his siblings, Janice Meierhofer, Joann Weeres and Ralph Meierhofer; his brothers-in-law, Rog Loch and Rog Weeres; and his sons-in-law, Dan Peterson and Al Schwegel.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Zieglmeier; his children, Lynn Lange (Bob) of Watkins, Leah Schwegel of Watkins, Lisa Peterson (Dan Bauer) of Annandale, Cory Meierhofer (Kelly) of Watkins and Michael Meierhofer (Gina) of Watkins; his sisters, Arliss Stenger (Rich) of Watkins, Elaine Leither (Dave) of Cold Spring and Juanita Arens (Donnie) of Litchfield; and his sister-in-law Ruth Meierhofer of Eden Prairie. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
