With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Tonnell of Watkins, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on November 14, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Katherine has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Mohs and Aloysia Mohs (Blonigen); and her children, David, Douglas Tonnell and Mary Tonnell.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (James Collins), Vicki (Thomas Landwehr), Janeen Tonnell of Venice, FL, Randy (Mary Tonnell) and John; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Tonnell of St. Augusta. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three great grand children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Anthony (170 Meeker Ave S, Watkins, MN 55389). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
