He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Marsh and Nannie Marsh (Sandlund); and his siblings, Evelyn Sparks, Norma Marquette, Richard Dahl, Harvey Dahl and JoAnn Sheldon.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Marsh of Watkins, MN; his daughters, Dawn Oeffling (Mike) of Delano, MN, Diane Marsh (John Hanson) of New London, MN, Melissa Jaquith (Jared) of Litchfield, MN and Sarah Schroeder of Cokato, MN; his grandchildren, Trent Boie (Zabber) of Chaska, MN, Carson Boie of Mankato, MN, Zoe Jaquith of Litchfield, MN, Sofia Jaquith of Litchfield, MN, Cassidy Marsh (Cayden) of Fargo, ND, Amara Schroeder of Cokato, MN, Merrick Schroeder of Cokato, MN and Atticus Schroeder of Cokato, MN; and his siblings, Lou Dalton and Marilyn Wellnitz of Buffalo, MN.
