He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Winings and Helen Windman; and his wife Mavis Munt. He is survived by: his siblings, Bev Hartzburg (Tony) of Willmar and Ronald Winings (Janell) of Watkins; and his nieces and nephews, Beckie Wimmer (Ken), Valorie Caskey, Brad Winings (Kayla), Jonathon Munt, Eric Munt and Greg Munt.
