It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Mariska of Waterville, Minnesota, born in Kilkenny, Minnesota, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stangler and Matilda Stangler (Thomas); her husband Norbert Mariska; her son Jerry Mariska; her son-in-law Howard Stuempert; her brothers, Gerald Stangler (Ella Jahn), William Stangler (Shirley), Elmer Stangler Jr. and James Stangler (Rita); her nieces, Linda and LuAnn; and her nephew Rocky Stangler.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Hagen (Larry) of Waseca, Sue Mariska (Dave) of Waterville, Tom Mariska (Patricia) of Waterville, Kathie Stuempert (Dean), Strehlau of Mahtomedi and Connie Hiller of Bemidji; her daughter-in-law Maureen Mariska of Waseca; and her sister-in-law LaVonne Stangler of Waterville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
