He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Nusbaum and Ethel Nusbaum (Theilbar); his sons, Doug Nusbaum and Curt Nusbaum; his siblings, Bernard Nusbaum, John Nusbaum, Jerome Nusbaum and Marie Larson; and his son-in-law Wayne James.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Nusbaum (Melanie) of Portugal, Teri James of Elysian and Laurie Danberry of Waterville; his daughter-in-law Deana Nusbaum of Kentucky; his brother Dale Nusbaum of Waterville; and his grandchildren, Ian Nusbaum, Shannon Kuball (Nathan), Lisa Cage (Elliott), Justin James (Stephanie), Jacob James (Ellie), Mathew Routh (Katrina), Jeramy Routh, Brandon Nusbaum (Danae), Katy Andregg (Nathan), Steven Nusbaum (Jennifer), Tina Nusbaum and Jackie Nusbaum. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; special nephews.
