It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cletus Prehn of Waterville, Minnesota, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Prehn and Loretta Prehn (Hoehn); his wife Kathleen Prehn; and his sisters, Judy Balentine and Jeannine Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kate Wetzel (Greg) of Andover, Mary Harty (Brian) of Maple Grove and Pat Pope (Nyl) of Waterville; his grandchildren, Andrew (Leslie), Joe (Amie), Adam (Emily), Sarah (Kevin), Erin (Jake), Shaun, Kevin, Brandon (Hana), Grant (Laney), Phyllip and Cole (Kallie); and his sister Jeannette Bartelt of Janesville. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (506 Common St, Waterville, MN 56096). A Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
