He was predeceased by: his parents, Ortwin Roemhildt and Mary Roemhildt (Wendt); his wife Elaine Stangler; and his stepsons, Ed, Allen and Kenneth "Joe" Ginter.
He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Lou Michels of Mankato; his son Kevin "Willie" Roemhildt (April) of Owatonna; his stepchildren, Shayne Michels of Maple Grove and Michelle Giroir-Johnson of Brighton, CO; his stepdaughter-in-law Deborah Ginter of Elysian; his grandchildren, Alex Lynn Hancock, Ortwin Grant Roemhildt, Frankie Elaine Roemhildt, Mylei Shayna Michels, Sean Giroir, Tonya Morsching (Adam) and Tara Ginter; his siblings, Jane Moldenhauer of Le Center, Caroline Krueger of Le Center, Ardis Ely of Cleveland and Orville Roemhildt of Cleveland; and his sister-in-law Carol Roemhildt of Le Center. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
