She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn Sperl and Borghild Sperl (Aukrust); her husband Robert Scholer; her sister Fern Peterson; and her grandson Joseph Nusbaum.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Brown (John) of Faribault, Daniel Scholer (Jodi) of Waterville and Tonia Bettermann of Owatonna; and her siblings, Steve Sperl (Pam) of Waterville, Chuck Sperl (Angie) of Mankato, Cindy Barrick (Scott) of Chandler, AZ and Sue Prehn (Calvin) of Waterville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
