She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershal Evans and Beulah Evans (Browne); her husband Robert Merwin Stephenson; her sister Georgia Bryant (Donald); and her siblings-in-law, Charles Kordick, Clifford Stephenson, Donald Bryant and Sherry Breckenridge.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Greg" Stephenson of Yakima, WA, Kerry Collins of Chaska, Mitch Stephenson (Julie) of Morristown and Ted Stephenson (Luann) of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Aaron, Brad, Andrew, Mark, Eric, Kayla, Collin, Kelsey and Jacob; and her sister Berta Kordick of Winterset. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren.
