Corina Deeny Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2019, Corina Deeny (Waterville, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Francis Deeny; her siblings, Elizabeth, Alice, Lorraine, Arnold, Linus and Dennis; and her sons-in-law, Jim Neubecker and Bruce Mathieu.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ben and Rose Bodensteiner (Rausch); her children, David Deeny (Joan) of Rapid City, SD, Carole Carnahan of Fort Collins, CO, Joseph Deeny (Anna) of Bellingham, WA, Susan Rubis (Jim) of Fairfield, IA, Jeanne Comstock (Frank) of Waseca, MN, John Patrick Deeny, Mary Mathieu of Minnetonka, MN, Michael Deeny (Chieko Sakamoto) of Apple Valley, MN, James Deeny (Sarah) of Stillwater, MN, Linda Wojciak of St. Paul, MN and Mark Deeny (Celeste) of Ellsworth, ME.; her sisters, Evelyn Elsbernd (Lawrence) of Calmar, IA and Marion Heying of West Union, IA; and her sister-in-law Marion Broghammer of West Union, IA.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the activity fund at Traditions of Waterville, or to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
