She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schuenemann and Delma Schuenemann (Biehn); her husband Clayton Stangler; and her brothers, Donald (Emmy), Dale (Melva) and Gordon Schuenemann (Sara).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Walz (William) of Waterville and Patricia Mariska (Thomas) of Waterville; her grandchildren, Lori Rothmeyer (Brian), Christopher Walz (Jennifer), Brian Mariska and Bradley Mariska; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Kathryn Rothmeyer, Megan, Claire and Paige Walz; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Riebel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
