He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kniefel and Gladys Kniefel (Bartosch); and his brother-in-law Darrell Lennon. He is survived by: his wife Ann of Waterville; his children, Kathy Kniefel of Elysian, Kris Kniefel of St. Louis Park, Terese Libby of Chanhassen and Kevin (Colette) of Fayetteville, NC; and his siblings, Agnes Kniefel of Faribault, Jeanette Lennon of Owatonna and Richard Kniefel of Owatonna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Le Sueur County Developmental Services in Waterville or Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis.
