Winifred T. Swenson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred T. Swenson of Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Stendel and Mary Stendel (Speck); her former husband Clayton Halverson; her husband Marvin Swenson; and her brother Rodney Stendel (Janice).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Halverson (Twyla) of Fergus Falls, Mary Jo Abbe (Dwaine) of Rio Verde, AZ and Nancy Halverson (Glenn Sigmon) of Burnsville; and her grandchildren, Kim Kilgore (Tony) of Joplin, MO, Chris Abbe (Robin) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Wendy Halverson of Owatonna. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice or St. Peter Lutheran Church in Otisco.
