He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Routh and Alma Routh (Amundson); and his sisters, Gail Arnfelt and Fay Gora. He is survived by: his wife Susan Routh of Waseca; his children, Bart Routh (Rochelle) of Stafford, VA, Bruce Routh (Rhonda) of Waconia, Brian Routh (Nicole) of Thornton, CO, Todd Erlandson (Natalia) of Cortez, CO, Erin Marick (Phil) of Bloomington and Aundè Reyna (Guadalupe) of Owatonna; his siblings, JoAnn Eaton (Steve) of Venice, FL, Allan Routh of Owatonna, Mark Routh (Brenda) of New Richland and Kristine Fischer of Coon Rapids; his aunt Jean Wilkenson of Arizona; and his brothers-in-law, Marty Gora of Onalaska, WI and Paul Arnfelt of Owatonna. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Mayo Hospice.
