He was predeceased by: his father Ron; and his brother Duane Steffen. He is survived by: his friends, Spencer and Patti Wilker; his wife Marcia; his sons, Peter Steffen (Christine) of Waconia and Tim Steffen (Lidia) of Storm Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Grace, Charlie, Jack, Joshua, Brianna, Gabriella, Jacob and Isaac; his sister Darlene Jones (Bob) of Napa Valley, CA; and his sister-in-law Joyce Steffen of Bloomington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (750 Jeffrey St, Owatonna, MN 55060). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Woodville Cemetery.
